Hey you munchkins!
I hope all is well with you guys and you’re having a fun week with lots of sun and adventure. That’s all ya need for a happy life, right?
Below are some of my favorite pictures from my trip to France. The first couple are of us watching the sun set on a beach in Guéthary, France. Unreal. I don’t think my appreciation for the trip came full round until I sat there in that moment just taking it all in. Because at no point in a million years did I imagine I would string together the words- I’m watching the sun set on a beach in the South of France.
Do you know what I mean, how some instances just make everything so real?
I can say with complete certainty that this was one of my favorite towns that we visited. Top three.
I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a beautiful secluded town in France where only the locals hang out at. It was so nice to finally not be surrounded by hundreds of tourists everywhere. Even though we are totally those tourists (hypocrite alert). But, sometimes you just want to go on vacation and actually get away from everyone and everything.
The second group of photos are from our day road trip to Pyrenees National Park. As you can see, it was just as equally magical as Guéthary. Basically, France is a magic-filled place. I mean… any place that stocks croissant in every possible place is magical in my book. *Cue emoji with it’s tongue sticking out*
This is by far the most scenic drive I’ve ever been on. I’m obsessed with all things nature and this national park one has surpassed every single one that I’ve been to in the States so far (sorry ‘Merica I still love you best!!) Until this roadtrip I had never seen an actual picturesque blue river. This water was seriously aqua blue. No joke. So, get ya booty here if you’re ever in France, it is SO worth it.
I wish I could pack everyone up in my suitcase so you could see these places for yourself. As the old cliché goes: Pictures don’t do it justice. A cliché is a cliché for a reason
